Back to School With Jenga

Getting To KNow yOu Activity

A fun way for students to get to know each other is to play Jenga with them.

After all the games are assembled (see below) I put students in gorups of 3-4 and they get to play Jenga for about 15-20 minutes.

As they pull the Jenga blocks they will have prompts to finish that will let their classmates know a bit more about them! This a stress free setting to share more about themselves.

Supplies Needed to make Jenga game:

  • Scissors
  • Clear Tape
  • Printout of sentence prompts (see below)
  • game blocks

All my supplies are ready. Labels are printed, tape and scissors handy, Jenga pieces piled !!!

2 done…..many more to go….

YAY! I am done and the pieces are back in the box waiting for my students. It goes a lot quicker than you think it will.

Cheers,
